Snorkels Review

Snorkels will be available in Sunfall Shores after it launches, most likely as a rare. As you can see from the stats list below, it has two randoms, for Health and Physical Defense. With good rolls on the randoms, Snorkels has the potential to be the best Water Miscrit currently available. Its strong Elemental Attack and Speed allows it to act as a good nuker, particularly against fire types. With good Health and Physical Defense it will be able to take a decent beating as well. I also think he has a really great art design in all four evolutions.

Rating
***** / Excellent

Location
Snorkels can be found in the treasure chest in the Jagged Treasure area of Sunfall Shores.

Snorkels was available as a reward for 10 consecutive wins in the Battle Arena. It has also been available for purchase in the Gem Shop, and it may return in the future.

  5. I don't get it; why is Snorkels excellent? I knocked out a Leviafin with one hit...shouldn't it have better defenses?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Snorkels has two random stats: Health and Physical Defense. If those stats turn out very bad, it isn't a very good Miscrit. My rating is based on the maximum potential of the Miscrit. Blazebit, Ignios, and Kelpa could all be potentially knocked out with one hit if they didn't have good defensive rolls, but they're all certainly Excellent if they do.

    1. Go with ignios and kelpa or if you like snorkels

  8. There are a lot of options you could go with, depending on what you have access to right now. I would pick one more EA Miscrit: Mun Kee, Ignios, or Snorkels would be the best. And then one more PA Miscrit like DP or DF. Just don't pick two of the same element. :P

    Fairyblossom
    Glidengale
    Kang Fu
    Bloomane
    Dynamellow
    Duskot

I wanna release Duskot cos its similar to my Kang Fu, and i want to have a more balanced team. Pls help, thx. :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Paul: The PD is looking good, and Health isn't bad. Looks good so far.

Sparkplugged: I would definitely not release Duskot. It is by far the best Miscrit you listed. I would suggest releasing the Bloomane first.

    ReplyDelete
  28. So who do you recommend training in bloomane's place? Must be a water or nature miscrit, thanks. And btw i feel like replacing kang fu with ignios, blazebit or sparkitten. Watcha think? :)

    Hp:62
    EA 51
    Ed 37

  30. Sparkplugged: Nature Miscrits I would recommend are Kelpa, DFP, Weevern, and Grubbean. For Water I would suggest Snorkels, DP, or Wavesling. Those are all good Fire Miscrits. My personal favorite is Ignios.

Paul: Looking good! Strong Health and PD. :)

  37. Hello... Just got my snorkels this morning... I found it in the treasure chest at Sunfall shores. Thanks for your guide, its true.

I also got kelpa, ignios and flutterpat. Is this a balanced team or should I consider other combinations? Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Is Poison even useful at level 30? Roughly 5 dmg per turn, so that makes 15 damage. Questionable damage? In fact I kept poison and now I don't know what to do. Well, I can release it (I have a DP in my arsenal) and train up DP, what should I do?
    PS>>>Lvl. 28. HP-73, PD-74

    ReplyDelete
  39. For me, DP is better because of over water.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yep, that's what I was thinking. BUT, his speed makes him vunerable, plus I don't really like miscrits with slow speed. His good stats doesn't make him as good when you compare to snorkels (stronger speed, has chance to get maxed hp and dp)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hey Master Chris :))))

I can say much about ur blog, it is fantastic, accurate.... blah blah blah (positive)

However, I just want to know, why do you think being heavily Elemental-based is better than being heavily Physical-based?? Why is that?? Just asking, i don't doubt ur powers or anything :))))

btw im making a lvl 10 team. is this team good, Ignios (HP: Strong, ED: Max, PD:Moderate, SP: Strong) Leggy, Snorkels (PD: Strong HP: Moderate) and DFP. I know it is VERY elemental heavy, but is it okay. Elemental miscrits tend to be good at lvl 10, esp. dfp.

    thanxx Master Chris!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. *oh sorry Master Chris I want to ask you if being very Elemental heavy is okay?? Thanxxx Master Chris!!!

  43. How is my snorkels lvl 13 normal trained

    hlth:40
    ea:31
    ed:26
    pa:22
    pd:35(I like it)
    spd:29

    ReplyDelete
  44. Fluffypat
Being VERY elemental heavy is okay, but if you face a Blazebit, Ignios whatever critters that has Max or Strong ED then it makes defeating them as irritating as fighting a lvl 100 miscrit (lol jk :D), and you lose the flexibility which is offgood to ALL teams. Physical 'critters that are good at lvl 10: Thundercracker, Sapphron (Cave of mists, but it isn't crucial)(flexible attackers!), Drilldent, Kelpa (with good PA)etc. I've been there!! :((

If you really like your Ignios,I will keep it. A good Snorkels' biggest strength is taking out Flue and DF. Strong Spd+Max(strong)PD+StrongEA=dead Flue and DF. hahahaha!! as you said, your snorkel's health is moderate, but the PD is Strong, so thats good.
DFP, as you noticed, is very good in lvl 10 because of its dark Sting. In fact, my strategy was to force an opponent to switch to their water, and i'll switch to my DFP (which has high-max speed), and she'll double turn and take a bite of the water critter's hp. in fact, water miscrits have only Strong speed for the most, and that is my DFP's greatest strength.
At least have one Physical attacker on your team. I would replace 1 with the above mentioned critters, but all your miscrits are good, so you choose :)))).

    ReplyDelete
  45. Anon
Your snorkels' hp is moderate. The pd is Max though, so thats good. I will suggest keeping it. The rest of the stats are what you will expect from a Snorkels. 9/10, if the hp is good, i would rate it 10/10.
